GVR Pickleball Club Board of Directors Election

BALLOT INSTRUCTIONS

 

GVR Pickleball Club Bylaws state members of the GVR Pickleball Club who have paid their annual dues in full by March 1 of each year and who are in good standing as GVR members shall be eligible to vote.

Online/Electronic ballot will be available Tuesday, March 5, 2024 via Pickleball Plus.

 

1. The “Please Vote” window will appear giving you the choice to vote for the first office.

2. If you wish to vote, select the dropdown arrow and make your choice and then click the Submit button. This will take you to the next position where you can repeat the steps to vote.

3. If you wish to DELAY or NOT vote, click on the Cancel button to bypass. You will be taken into your Pickleball.Plus account.

4. If you didn't complete the voting process or choose to not vote, the "Please Vote" window will repeat each time you log into your account until voting closes on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

 

Paper Ballot will be made available on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 (ballot and envelopes) at Canoa Ranch, East Center and KJB Pickleball Center in or near the desk.  

 

1. Place the completed paper ballot in the Secrecy envelope.

2. Place the Secrecy envelope inside the Transmission large envelope.

3. Fill-in in the label with your name, signature, and GVR member ID number.

4. Deposit the ballot in a Pickleball Club dropbox located at East Center or the Kent J. Blumenthal Pickleball Complex or mail it using the transmission envelope.

5. Paper ballots deposited into the club’s dropbox will be accepted until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Paper ballots submitted by U.S. Mail will be accepted with a postmark on or before Thursday, March 14, 2024.

 

Note: The Nominating Committee shall tabulate all votes cast by paper ballot, verifying that each ballot contains a valid GVR member ID number, using the current member list described in Bylaws Section E. If a ballot does not include the GVR member ID number of a current GVR Pickleball Club member, the ballot shall be deemed invalid. Any duplicate ballots received and identified by the GVR member ID number shall also be deemed invalid.
